Kim Kardashian wore a sexy white cutout dress to the Vatican in Italy earlier this week, and many were wondering how her dress adhered to the strict dress code.
According to one Italy tour group, “both men and women both need to cover their knees and upper arms. They prohibit wearing shorts or skirts above the knee, sleeveless tops, and low-cut shirts,” and visitors will be asked to cover up if they are visiting and don’t adhere to the dress requirements of the religious territory.
Kim responded to some who were concerned she broke the dress code.

“We had the most incredible experience touring Vatican City @vaticanmuseums. It was amazing to be able to view all of the iconic art, architecture and ancient Roman sculptures in person, especially Michelangelo’s works. We even had an opportunity to view their private archive of robes worn by every pope in history, dating back to the 1500’s,” Kim posted. “Thank you @ocspecial for arranging the visit.”
Kim then added a disclaimer, saying, “(Don’t worry, I adhered to the dress code and fully covered up while inside St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel’s)”
