Kristen Stewart Channels Princess Diana’s Casual Style in a New Picture From ‘Spencer’

Yes, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah is eating up all of your royal energy ATM, but can I interest you in a refreshment another picture of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana??? KStew is still filming Spencer—the upcoming that follows the late Diana over a critical weekend where she knew her marriage to Prince Charles was no longer going to work—and was just pictured on set. Spoiler alert: Kristen looks juuuust like Diana (but we already knew that).

Instead of the more regal look that we first got of Kristen as Diana, we’re now seeing Kristen channeling the casual side of Diana’s impeccable style. This time, Kristen wears a tan gingham wrap coat, a cream-colored turtleneck and dark pants. Diana’s signature blonde bob is, of course, on full display.

For those of y’all that are still pretty skeptical about Kristen playing Diana, don’t worry—she has done a crap ton of preparation for this role. In an interview with InStyle in October 2020, Kristen revealed that she’s studied reading materials, has been working with a coach to get the accent down pat, and has been doing her absolute best to learn the woman she’s portraying.

“The accent is intimidating as all hell because people know that voice, and it’s so, so distinct and particular,” Kristen told the mag. “I’m working on it now and already have my dialect coach. In terms of research, I’ve gotten through two and a half biographies, and I’m finishing all the material before I actually go make the movie. It’s one of the saddest stories to exist ever, and I don’t want to just play Diana—I want to know her implicitly. I haven’t been this excited about playing a part, by the way, in so long.

IDK about you, but I personally can’t wait for Spencer to come out!!!
