Featuring sing-along songs from ABBA, Tina Turner, Phil Collins and Madonna to name just a few, it’s the perfect tool to get you through that long drive.

The All Out 80s playlist is also complied with tunes from Diana Ross, Spandau Ballet and The Human League, we could be here all day trying to name the big names on the list.

Luckily, it will accommodate you for quite some time, because it’s packed with over 10 hours-worth of tunes.

What happens when you get one of Britain’s best pop singers and her mum together? They make a fabulous podcast, obviously.

Table Manners with Jessie and her mum Lennie features the duo cooking up a storm before sitting down and chatting to a celebrity guest over the dining table.

Guests to have featured so far include the likes of consumer rights legend and comedian Joe Lycett, Radio 1 DJ Greg James and his wife, author and journalist Bella Mackie, and singer Ed Sheeran during the show’s 11 seasons.

Jessie and Lennie will soon be set to put out season 12 into the world, after releasing an ‘Extra Helpings’ (think Saturday Kitchen Best Bites style) special as their first episode earlier this week.

How to Fail with Elizabeth Day

Elizabeth Day’s podcast teaches us how to find success in our ‘failures’ (Picture: Apple)

A lot of the time, podcasts seem to be full of people telling us how good they are at life but luckily Elizabeth Day’s series has a slightly more realistic approach.

The author and journalist’s podcast, which has since culminated in a book of the same name, asks us to take on the good from our failures in life in her series.

Elizabeth always proves to be engaging and thoughtful host as she sits down to ask to ask her celebrity guests to chat through three defining moments in their lives where things went wrong.

From BBC newsreader George Alagiah to Line of Duty’s Vicky McClure and Fleabag creator, Phoebe Waller-Bridge it’s a refreshing and positive insight into how we can all use failure to provide future success.

Love Island: Pool Party (Spotify playlist)

Getting the post-Love Island blues already? Don’t worry, a solution is already here for you.

The people over at Spotify have the perfect soundtrack to put you within touching distance of the Majorcan villa.

This playlist is packed with banger after banger from the likes of Becky Hill, Joel Corry and Raye, comprising of the latest pop and dance releases to some older remixes and favourites.

It will surely go a long way to helping you stay in the mood for summer even after the villa’s closed its doors for another year.

Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed

Former Strictly Come Dancing star and funny man Chris Ramsey and his wife Rosie Ramsey turned their hand to podcasting back in 2019, with fantastic results.

The pair, who have two young sons, chat about all things parenthood, marriage, pet peeves, arguments and growing up, making for a truly hilarious podcast.

During the episodes, the couple engage in free-flowing discussion using the opportunity to share their ‘beef’ with each other as well as answering questions from the public as well as a secret celebrity during the show.

The duo are about to head off on a tour of the podcast too, kicking things off with two sold-out shows in Edinburgh next month.

Off Menu

Panel show and stand-up favourites Ed Gamble and James Acaster unite to find the perfect menu at their mystical dream restaurant, starring your favourite famous faces.

The concept is simple, the duo ask guests to pick still or sparkling water, poppadums or bread, followed by the starter, main course, side, dessert and drink of their dreams.

Ed and James also pick out a secret ingredient, which they tell listeners before the podcast begins – which their guests are unknowingly not allowed to say.

The podcast series provides some heart-warming food love stories as well as some incredibly chaotic menu choices from the stars.

Blackout

If you want something a bit more gripping for your car journey, look no further than ‘Blackout’ for your apocalyptic thriller fix.

Starring Academy Award winner Rami Malek, the episodes follow his character Simon Itani, a local radio DJ fighting to protect his family and community after the power grid goes down nationwide.

It threatens to change modern civilisation forever after the country is put into blackout.

Recently released season 2 introduces new character Wren, played by Aja Naomi King, who appears as an old family friend of Simon – but what does she want?

British Scandal

British Scandal is hosted by Alice Levine and Matt Forde (Picture: Wondery)

Another series perfect if you want a bit more serious gossip in your life, as this podcast focuses on some of the biggest scandals in UK history.

Each of its miniseries’ examines sagas such as the Profumo Affair to the Phone Hacking Scandal and The Litvinenko Affair in great detail as hosts Alice Levine and Matt Forde chat through detailed accounts of the events in question.

The podcast from creators Wondery is the latest in a long line of similar style ventures, including Business Wars, American Scandal and Even The Rich.

The podcast features some humorous interjections and observations from the pair throughout, to make sure things aren’t too serious all the time – so if you enjoyed Buzzfeed Unsolved, this is definitely the show for you.
